Volunteer

Mt. Aetna is a great place for high school and academy students to complete their community service requirements. Tasks range from animal care to grounds keeping, from nature research and writing to trail building.

We are always looking for nature lovers who would enjoy being a Nature Center Docent, or host on Saturday afternoons. This involves giving tours, answering questions, and handling some of the live animals. High school and academy students can also use this to complete their community service requirements

Adults can volunteer on similar lines or might choose to bring their RV and spend a week or two in the spring or fall and help out in return for utility hookups and some meals.
